Information and applications for all the following scholarships can be found on the Seniors 2021 Scholarships Google Classroom


The M.B. Scholarship - Due 5/31 via email:  3.0 GPA, known to be kind, hard working student, and has volunteered within our community. Student must be entering college with a field in relations of helping people, healing people or teaching people. On a Google or Word Document write and essay on what makes you a good candidate for the scholarship and the your plans for the funds. (How it will help you get closer to your goals?)

Lozeau Family Scholarship - Due April 15th. Applicants should be pursuing a career/major in the education field (teaching).

Goodman Family Scholarship - Due April 15th.  Applicants should be pursuing a career/major in the medical, engineering or science fields.

Robert & Joyce Oberkotter Family Foundation  - Due Feb 1st College and Trade School Scholarship

Subway student Athlete Scholarship - Senior student athletes from NHIAA schools can apply now for the Subway Student-Athlete Scholarship. The scholarship winner will receive $1000.

Canaan Memorial Masonic Award for Higher Education - Due 5/1: Must be mailed and postmarked by 5/1

Mt Cardigan Snowmobile Club Scholarship - Due to Ms. Davis on March 26th

New Hampshire Charitable Foundation Scholarship - Due April 15th  Application covers several scholarships, including:

-The Gilman scholarship: available to all Mascoma graduating seniors, awards are typically $6,000 per year for up to four years
- The Furlow scholarship: available to Enfield residents only, awards ranging in size from $1,000 to $3,000 per year for up to four years
- The Robert H. and Virginia N. Scotland Scholarship Fund: available to residents of Orange, Canaan, Dorchester, Enfield, and Grafton, awards ranging in size from $2,500 to $5,000

Canaan High School & MVRHS Alumni Scholarship - Print and complete or type out on a doc. Hand into Ms. Steere by April 30th

Canaan Elementary School "The Spirit of Excellence" Scholarship - Student must: Be a graduate of Canaan Elementary School and currently attending MVRHS; Exemplify leadership within the community as demonstrated through community service; Be attending any post-secondary institution; and Show evidence of participation in extra-curricular activities during high school

Grantham Garden Club Scholarship - Each year the Grantham Garden Club (the “Club”) offers financial scholarships to New Hampshire residents preparing for a career in horticulture, landscaping, forestry, agriculture, plant sciences, or environmental sciences at a post-secondary institution.  To be eligible, students must be enrolled or about to enroll part-time or full-time in a university, certified college, community college, or technical school program in one of these fields.  Regarding students in environmental sciences, preference will be given to those interested in topics related to plant life, such as conservation of local plant species, control of invasive plants, or soil conservation.  The Club does not award scholarships to students in fish and wildlife management.  If a student is not sure he/she is eligible, he/she should send an e-mail to for clarification.  Submission Deadline:  April 15, 2021

Friends of Mascoma Scholarship - The Friends of Mascoma Foundation scholarship application period is from January 1st through May 1st

The Stephen Phillips Memorial Scholarship Fund - The Stephen Phillips Memorial Scholarship Fund offers renewable, four-year scholarships to students with financial need who display academic achievement, a commitment to serving others (in school, their community, or at home), a strong work ethic, and leadership qualities.

Lincoln Tech HS Scholarship - Senior year of high school comes with a lot of expectations and decisions and an increasing number of students are considering a career in the trades.  Lincoln Tech has been training America’s workforce for nearly 75 years, and our career-focused programs will help your students learn the skills they need to put their potential to work in fields like:

Auto Technology,Collision Repair & Refinishing,Computerized Manufacturing,Diesel & Truck Technology,Electrician Training,HVAC,Welding

Activist Artist Scholarship - Friday, January 8, 2021: Deadline for Scholarship Submissions  Eligibility Requirements: Scholarship eligibility will be limited to graduating high school seniors who are residents of New Hampshire that intend to enter a 2- or 4-year undergraduate degree program in the Fall of 2021.Award: The Activist Artist Scholarship winner will receive a $5,000 award payable to his/her intended college or university.  Up to two runner-up awards will be awarded in the amount of $2,500 each, payable to the intended college or university.

New Hampshire JCI Senate - Must be postmarked on or before JANUARY 22, 2021

The Mensa Foundation Scholarship Program -

There are a number of scholarships with various deadlines.  These are National scholarships and be mindful of the criteria.
